Hunter looked at me today while I was filling Evan's sippy cup with some water and told me "you are a nice mommy, Mommy". How sweet is that?!?!? My 3 year old thinks I am a nice mommy! That just melted my heart.

Hunter's Garden is Growing!!!

Hunter's garden is doing great! We have actually been able to begin to pick some yummy yellow squash from it and the tomatoes and green peppers are not far behind! His sunflowers are close to blooming too. This is very exciting for him to watch! He is rather proud of his garden and he has to inspect it each time we go and visit his Nana.

King of the Box!!!

Evan has taken a great interest in climbing anything and everything in the house! My mom gave us an old computer box and the boys LOVE playing with it! Hunter pretends it is a boat and Evan, well he flips it over and climbs on top of it. He looks so proud each time he completes one of his climbs! I can only imagine what he will climb in the future. If he takes after his name sake then it will be mountains!

Summer Trip

A few weeks ago we ventured across the state to Holland and South Haven and had a great time! We had so much fun at the beach, sand dunes and harbor! The weather was amazing! The beach was incredible! The family time was awesome and the memories are forever! Cannot wait for more trips in the future!

Black Eye

Hunter got his first black eye the other day. He was playing with a friend and got hit in the eye with a metal airplane. Thank goodness it hit right below his eye and not in the actual eye. So, he was left with two small cuts and a light black eye. When I told him he was going to have a black eye he responded with "I do not want a black eye, I want to keep my eyes blue!". How cute is that?!?!?

Off to the Races!!!

The boat races, that is! We took the boys to Roar on the River this past weekend and watched some great boat races and Jet Ski shows. All of us had a great time! Hunter was in heaven watching all the boats go super fast! He was glued to the race for the entire 20 minutes! I was amazed! He even called the winner - the yellow boat. Go Hunter! After the boat race the jet ski show started and Hunter enjoyed it just as much as the boat race. After the race and show we headed back up the hill and Hunter got a free yellow t-shirt that featured the boat races! He loves his new shirt with the super fast boat on it! Too bad it is too big but he will grow in to it. Rather it be too big than too small. We will be heading back to the Roar on the River next year. So much fun!!!
