The Pirate Ship

I was able to get a picture of each one of my boys looking out the porthole on the pirate ship. Really cute! They all had a great time on that ship! If we had the room and the money I would love one at home for them to play on. Dreams.

Huron Turkey Farm

We visited the Huron Turkey Farm for the first time this year. There was so much to do! There were bounce houses, petting farm, a pirate ship to play on, a castle to climb in and even a swingset to play on! Wow!!! There was also a haunted bakery and haunted house that we avoided. We did not want Hunter having nightmares since he scares really easily. Hunter and Evan both had a great time! Hunter was amazed at all the turkeys! Evan loved the pirate ship! It was hard to get the boys to leave. Christian, Nana and I all enjoyed watching the boys have so much fun. Great day!!!

Bird's Pumpkin Patch

Christian and I started a tradition of visiting Bird's Pumpkin Patch every year starting the year we were pregnant with Hunter. We really enjoy this patch. It is family centered and not over priced. The kids are allowed to climb all over the giant pumpkins and run all over the place. We always get our pumpkins there! Hunter and Evan had so much fun exploring and picking out pumpkins. It was a perfect morning!

Autumn Fun!

Autumn is the best time of the year! I love the way it smells outside, the colors and the crispness in the air! Perfection. Plus, you get to play in all the leaves!!! My boys had a blast playing in the leaves! Smiles and giggles all the way around. It was great! This was Evan's first time in the leaves and his smile was huge!!! I was in heaven.

Baking With MeeMaw!

Hunter loves to cook and bake anything! He will help out in the kitchen every chance he gets. Perhaps he is going to be a chef. That would be great! He jumped at the opportunity to help MeeMaw make cookies from scratch at her house. He enjoyed every minute including munching on the warm cookies when they came out of the oven. He was so tired on the way he that he passed right out. Quite an enjoyable ride for me, nice and quiet!!!

Popsicle Boy.

Evan loves his mini popsicles that he MeeMaw introduced to him. He will stop at nothing to get one including stealing his brother's popsicle! Hunter does not like this at all. Evan is growing up and beginning to figure out how to get what he wants. Look out Hunter!

Lounging at MeeMaw's.

My Dad has a really nice lounge chair in his backyard and my boys love it! After lots of running around and ball playing with Marty, Hunter decided it was time to take a rest. He climbed right up in the chair and reclined it and told me he was just like his Papa. Great memories!

Fire Department Fun!

Today we went to the Fire Department for an open house and had a great time! Hunter was in heaven with all the firetrucks and the ambulance! He even got to help use the fire hose! FUN!!! Even Evan had fun checking out the trucks and running around. Hunter keeps telling me he wants to be a fireman when he gets bigger. Of course, that is what he is going to be for Halloween too.

Daddy's Helper.

Hunter really enjoys doing projects with us. He especially likes to help his Dad with projects around the house. Today Christian was working on resealing the windows to get ready for the cold days ahead. Hunter was right there helping him out. He had lots of fun! Christian really seemed to like having Hunter helping him too. Bonding time.

Garbage Man?

Perhaps Evan wants to be a garbage man when he gets older. One never knows! Just to ease your mind, there was not any garbage in the can. My parents use it to hold empty pop cans. And, no, there were not any cans in it either. Evan thought it was a great place to crawl in and play! You can tell how happy he was by the grin on his face when he discovered that nobody was going to stop him from flipping the can over and crawling in. It was really cute.

Sucker Love!

Evan LOVES suckers! If he is crabby at all or fussing even a little bit and you pull out a sucker you get an instant smile from him! It really is cute. He is quite proud of holding his own sucker and getting super sticky while enjoying each lick! He is a ham just like his older brother.

Blanket Fun!

My mom bought us a quilt at the Amish Auction for our 5 year Anniversary and the boys love to play with it! They love it when we toss it up in the air like a parachute and they like to climb under it too. The giggles and laughs that come from them while they play with the quilt are adorable! Even Nana got in on the fun!

The Bike-A-Thon!

Hunter recently had a Bike-A-Thon at his school and did great! He did the most laps in his class!!! He rode for the entire hour and completed 58 laps! Go Hunter!
