One in a Million!

My wonderful husband surprised me with some beautiful flowers the other day! It really helps to bring a bit of Spring into the house during these long and cold Winter months. Just having some bright flowers on the table in our Great Room really helps to make us happy! Not much longer and we will be able to have lots of flowers outside too! My husband is truly one in a million! Thanks Sweetie!

Meet "Charlotte".

Hunter made his first snowman today with a little help from me. While Evan was napping we headed out to clear the driveway and then decided to make a snowman. Hunter was so excited and had so much fun! He loved using a carrot for the snowman's nose and then he used raisins and cranberries for the buttons, eyes and mouth of the snowman. After we were all done putting the arms, hat and scarf on our friend I asked him what the snowman's name was and he told me "Charlotte". He also told me that the snowman was from the movie "Charlotte's Web". He loves that movie! So, now "Charlotte" is happily living in our backyard and Hunter is very proud!

Great Zumma's Birthday.

Yesterday we headed out to Williamston to gather with some of the family for Zumma's birthday. The boys all had a blast!!! All of Zumma's great grandbabies were there minus Ryan. Zumma really seemed to enjoy having 5 out of her 6 boys there and they certainly enjoyed it too! This was Evan's first time out there since July and Zumma was so happy to see him and how big he has gotten and how much he has changed. Hunter had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and seeing his MeeMaw and Papa too. It was a great day!

Us and Our Boys.

It is not too often that we actually take pictures of ourselves with our boys. But, last night we did just that. Not sure why but we did and they turned out pretty good! Both boys were in really good moods and we took advantage of it and got some wonderful pictures! I love the "smile" on Hunter's face when he is sitting with Christian. It is almost like you can see the wheels turning in his head!

More Cute Pics!

These are just some of my favorite pics from over the last couple of weeks! I just love that my boys love to "ham it up" for the camera!!! Smile on boys!

The Shirt.

The shirt says it all. No other words needed. Both boys agree with it!

Fun in the Kitchen!!!

This past week Hunter helped me do a lot of baking. One of his favorite things to help make is banana bread. He loves banana bread!!! After we were done baking he even helped me clean up. Great kid! Of course, he asked to play in the kitchen sink and I could not say no. So, he had a blast playing with the water and sprayed it just about everywhere! We were both laughing so hard and it was really hard to be upset. So, I was not at all! I had a pretty big mess to clean up but it was well worth it! Evan even enjoyed watching his big brother. That was a great day!

Moving On Up!!!

It is time to say farewell to the infant carrier for Evan. He has graduated to the child carseat!!! My second born is growing so very fast and is blowing me away!!! I still find it hard to believe that he is over 8 months now and is crawling, babbling, pulling up and cruising! Wow!!! At least Hunter has him in one category - teeth! When Hunter was Evan's age he had 6 teeth and Evan only has 4 and is working on number 5. Hunter took his time in the crawling department and started at 8 1/2 months and was walking at 10 1/2 months. So, we shall see what Evan does! For now, we are moving on up in the carseat world!

Happy Heart Day!!!

My little sweeties and I would like to wish you all a very happy Valentine's Day!!! We hope it is filled with lots of love, hugs and kisses too!!! (Ok, Evan does not look very cheerful in this particular pic but he is really happy today!!!)

First BIG Snow.

We recently had our first big snow of the season and Hunter was thrilled! He has been waiting for snow all winter and we finally got it! He had so much fun helping me shovel and then snowblowing with his Daddy. This kid loves to be out in the snow. As Christian would use the snowblower Hunter would run and stand right in the path of the snow that was flying through the air and laugh so hard as it fell on him! It does not matter how cold it is if there is snow on the ground he wants to play in it! The deeper it is the better! So, I am hoping we get one or two more good snow storms this year. Come on snow!!!

Funtastic Fun!!!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take both boys over to Funtastic. They had a blast! Hunter was running everywhere and going down the slides and climbing the ropes and just being a boy. Evan had fun crawling around and playing in the toddler area. It was fun to be out with both of them on my own. We also headed back to Funtastic on Hunter's actual birthday with his MeeMaw. They both had a good time that day too! My mom really enjoyed watching Hunter have fun. It was nice to be able to share that time with her.

Out Cold!

After Hunter's birthday party last weekend both boys crashed hard! They each slept awesome that night! It was great! I guess it is safe to say they both had a really good time.

Random Pics

Here are some random pics of the boys. I really enjoy taking pics whenever I can and since there is always an opportunity I take it!!! Enjoy!

He Stands!!!

OMG!!! Evan has recently started to pull up on just about anything! He is too young to be doing this!!! Hunter did not pull up until after he started to crawl at 8 1/2 months! Wow, Evan is way ahead of Hunter at this age. He is going to be walking around before I know it and then I am really in trouble. Keep up the great work, Evan!

3 Years Ago......

Three years ago at this time I was in labor with Hunter. I remember each and every event that happened that day, at the hospital and the moment he was born and placed on my chest. I will never be able to forget that moment. I am finding it hard to believe that tomorrow when I wake up Hunter will be three years old! Wow!

Baby Wisps Are Gone!!!

Evan went to visit Jessica today and got his very first haircut!!! His baby wisps are all gone and he looks like a little boy now!! Evan was not very happy at all about the whole situation. He hated having to sit still and cried up a storm. The opposite of Hunter when he got his hair cut for the first time. Just goes to show you that every kid is different!!!

Less Than One Week!

In less than one week I will have a three year old on my hands!!! Where did the last three years go? I still remember each and every little thing that happened the day he was born like it was just yesterday. I look at him and I cannot believe that he is growing as fast as he is and that he is changing right before my very eyes. Before I know it Evan will be one and I will no longer have a baby in the house.
