30

Well, I turned 30 on the 22nd and it sure was not as big of a deal as everyone thought it would be. Everyone kept telling me that you are leaving your youth behind and that I am old now. Hmmmmm.....I still do not feel old or that I left my youth behind. I feel great!!! I had an awesome birthday weekend! My husband got me a spa weekend along with tons of things from Bath and Body Works and even some candles and a new DVD. We took Hunter to the petting farm for the first time and he had a blast! He loved to pet the bunnies and look at the baby chicks. The cow was a bit intimidating for him. But, that animal is HUGE!! My parents came over for dinner on Sunday and spent some time with Hunter. Then on Monday we spent the day as a family and took Hunter down by the river and he discovered seagulls! Man, he loves to chase those birds! He gets that from me. I loved to chase seagulls growing up and I still love to have fun with those birds! So, overall, my birthday was amazing!! Being 30 is really no different than being 29. Age is just a number afterall!!

5 Days Left

I only have 5 more days left of my 20's. I have been told by many people that your 30's are the best years of your life - I will have to wait and see. So far my 20's have been incredible! I graduated from Madonna University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I met Christian and we married and later had a wonderful little boy! I can only imagine what is going to happen in my 30's that will be able to top my 20's. Hmmmmm.........

Busy, Busy, Busy Day!

WOW!! Today was a jammed packed day! Hunter was on the move A LOT!! First off, we had business to take care of at the bank this morning and Hunter was such a good boy. Next, we had our daily 2-3 mile walk and then a nap. After Hunter's nap we played out in his new pool and then went to Bouncing Off The Walls and had lots of fun jumping in all the huge inflatables! Hunter has been there before with me but this was his first time with his Daddy and they had so much fun! Hunter is certainly in a Daddy phase right now and he just lights up with laughter whenever he sees his Daddy. It really is a sight! After our jumping time we had pizza for dinner, which is one of Hunter's favorite meals! Then our friends stopped by and Hunter and Evelyn got to enjoy his pool together. Then it was time for a bath and then bed. My little guy crashed hard! He sure was tuckered out after his day. May he sleep well. I just love my son to pieces! Hunter and Christian are the BEST part of my life!! I am so lucky!

June, already?!?!

Holy Cow! I just realized that it is already June!! Where has the year gone? It almost feels like Hunter's first birthday was only a few weeks ago. Wow, time really does fly by once you have kids.
So, we spent the last day of May at Elizabeth Park and had lots of fun as a family. We spent time at the playground and then walked over to the ponies. We eventually ended up down at the water and relaxed for a bit. It was a really nice day. As a matter of fact, it was the perfect way to end the month of May.
I absolutely love the picture of Hunter and Christian walking together hand in hand over to the ponies at the park. It was just one of those moments that was perfect for taking a picture. I can't believe how big our little boy is getting. Before we know it he will be off to his first day of school.
