Our Boys.

Christian and I are so very proud of our boys! They are growing right before our eyes and we love every second with them!

Loving Preschool!

Hunter LOVES Preschool! He cannot wait to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So far he has made an orange crown with his name on it, a macaroni necklace and a windsock. Really cool! He has also brought home pictures that he has colored. He is so proud of the things he has made and so are we! What a big boy we have now!

Outside Fun!

We are enjoying these last few weeks of cool weather before the cold sets in by being outside! The boys love their sandbox and all the toys that go along with it! Once we all get outside it is so hard to come back in. Not looking forward to the cold and dark days of winter. Gotta get out while it is still nice!

5 Years!!!

Five years ago I married my best friend, my soul mate, my dream come true! It is hard to believe that 5 years have already passed us by but we have so much to show for them! We have made a great life and family together! I would not change a single thing. Well, ok maybe one. I ended up at urgent care last night and got stitches in my finger and a tetanus shot. Not fun. That would be one thing that I would change. Other than my little goof yesterday these last five years have been amazing!!! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CHRISTIAN!!!

Working at the Car Wash!!!

Hunter wanted to earn some money to buy some new matchbox cars so we came up with the chore of washing the cars and he loved it! He thought it was the best thing ever, next to his fish shirt of course! Hunter and Christian were outside for 2 hours washing both our vehicles and Hunter never got bored. Amazing!!! He did a great job too! Afterwards we headed to the toy store to pick out some new cars.

The Fish Shirt.

Hunter has a new favorite shirt. We got it in Holland over the summer when we visited the West coast of Michigan. He LOVES this shirt! He would wear it everyday if he could. The fish on the shirt burst into different colors when they enter sunlight. Pretty cool! He thinks it is the best shirt ever and loves to show people how his shirt is magical.

Parking Garage.

Apparently, my kitchen has become a parking garage for matchbox cars. Kinda cute but annoying too. It makes it rather difficult to cook or clean with all those cars lined up around the counters and on my stove. Hunter loves to do! Me, not so much.

My Little Climber.

Evan has turned into quite the little climber. He climbs on EVERYTHING!!! I remember Hunter doing this same thing except for the crib part. Hunter never tried climbing out of the crib. Well, Evan already has climbed out. We will climb on the chairs, tables, end tables, beds and up and down the stairs. We certainly named him after the right person, my brother Matt. He climbs things like mountains. Perhaps Evan will too one day!

Hunter's Sunflowers!

Hunter planted sunflowers in his garden much earlier this year. They really grew well! He was so happy when they finally bloomed! Thank goodness I got some pictures of them before a big windstorm came along and knocked them all down. So sad. But, that allowed us to cut some off and put them in a vase at home! He liked that.

Preschool!!!

Hunter had his first day of Preschool today and LOVED it!!! He was a bit shy while meeting the teacher but then jumped right in!! Totally surprised me! He quickly made a new friend, Braden and was even sharing cars and firetrucks! He did get upset when it was time to cleanup the toys for story time but that will get better with time. He also got upset when it was time to go home because he wanted to stay. Go figure, he likes school that much that he wanted to stay!!! He had zero interest in going home. He really likes his teacher and so do we. He cannot wait to go back next week. He has been asking all day if it is time to go back! So, overall, we had a very successful first day of Preschool! Lets just hope this positive attitude about school continues for years!!!
