Same Path.

Evan is taking the same path as Hunter. He is NEGATIVE for eggs, dairy and soy but is intolerant for now. We will take it and run! I guess we are pretty good at dodging bullets so far! Woo Hoo!!!
Now, I am just waiting for the doctor to call and discuss some issues that the nurse had no answers for but that is ok since I got the blood results! Doing the happy dance!!!

Hoping and Praying!

Hoping and praying that Evan's allergy test results are all negative tomorrow. He was tested for dairy, soy and egg whites. Please oh please let him be negative!!! Fingers crossed and toes too! We dodged several bullets with Hunter and we are hoping to do the same with Evan. I will update tomorrow after we talk to Dr. Leo.

Vacuum Loving Tot!

I have no idea why but Hunter LOVES to vacuum! I cannot throw out my old vacuum because it is one of his favorite toys! Strange, I know. However, I think I have helped to make his future wife very happy. She will not need to vacuum ever! Hunter will always have that under control!

On a different note, I have discovered why Evan sleeps through the night each and every night and has since he came home from the hospital - Hunter. Yup, that is right, Hunter keeps him up practically all day. Evan does not seem to mind. He is always smiling! Like right now, Evan was napping in his swing until Hunter got out his vacuum. Now Evan is happily swinging away and watching his big brother vacuum my carpet. Ahhhhh, at least I taught this child how to keep a clean house!

So Happy!

I just wanted to say how happy I am right this minute! I am one very lucky and blessed person to have my family. My husband is incredible and my world and my boys are at the center of it all! There is not a day that goes by that I do not thank God for my wonderful life! My boys may be a handful but they are my boys and they manage to make me laugh and smile every single day!

I love you Christian, Hunter and Evan! Thank you for making me as happy as I am! You guys are my world!!!

One Word!

I simply have one word to describe the outcome of Hunter's scratch test from earlier today:

NEGATIVE!!!!!!!
We were so happy to see those results! The test went well and even though Hunter really did not enjoy himself at all it had to be done. Thank goodness everything turned out great! Now, we sit and wait for two weeks to get Evan's results back from his RAST test from today. Dr. Leo tested him for a few different food allergies. So, one kiddo down and one to go! Fingers crossed that little E-Man's results come back negative too!

Judgement Day.

Well, in just over 2 hours we should hopefully know what our first son is allergic to. I am hoping for a negative result for each and every thing he is tested for! Please cross your fingers and say a little pray for Hunter that the Gods work in his favor today. I will update once we know for sure on the results.

First Major Roadtrip - Success!!!

Our first major roadtrip was a huge success!!! The boys did awesome! Hunter handled it like a champ and Evan slept most of the time. I must admit, I was shocked at how well it went! Now, will we do it again any time soon, not a chance!!!
We arrived in Sioux City last Friday and stayed until Monday. It was great to see all the family and most of all Grand. It was wonderful to see her with her entire family there especially her 4 great grandchildren!!! Hunter had a blast playing with Henry and Hailey while Evan enjoyed himself as much as a 3 month old can! Christian and I really liked catching up with everyone and watching the kids go crazy. Overall, the trip was amazing!!!
I will make sure to update Picasa with all the pics just as soon as I catch up with everything else around the house.

Move Over Crib!!!

Hunter is currently fast asleep in his brand new big boy bed!!!! It totally amazed me that he climbed right in at naptime and told me to go. I left and returned to check on him and found him out cold under the covers and all in his bed!!! There is a God - he has made this transition easy on us! I can only hope for the same situation at bedtime - fingers crossed! My first born is proving that he is no longer a baby. My oh my, time sure has flown by way too fast! It feels like we just transitioned him from his bassinet to his crib and he is already in his big boy bed. Sigh, my boys are growing up way too fast and right before my very eyes.

Fun at the Petting Farm!

This past weekend we attended a birthday party at the local petting farm and had a great time! Hunter LOVES this place and never seems to grow tired of it! This was also Evan's first time there and he was awake and full of smiles the entire time! In true Hunter fashion, after about an hour or so he began to lose it and it was time to go. At least the first hour was fun!!!

A Visit to MeeMaw and Papa's House.

Hunter and I took a trip up to his Grandparents house the other day and left Evan at home with Christain. Hunter loved the time alone he had with his Mommy and Grandparents! It was lots of fun! We had dinner up there and Hunter had a blast feeding his MeeMaw! After dinner he ran around in the backyard with Marty and then took out some time to snuggle with his Papa. It was such a nice trip with my big boy! I really do miss the one on one time Hunter and I use to have each and every day.

Captain Christian!

You can just call him "Captain Christian"!!! Or, as the other picture shows "Stickers"!!! He is such a good Dad!!! Hunter had lots of fun dressing his Dad up and Christian was such a good sport for letting Hunter do it.

Queen of the Couch!

Apparently Prism thought the Lightning McQueen couch was bought for her and her alone! Check out the way she lounges on it - looks pretty comfortable to me!

So Peaceful.

There is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping baby. Evan Matthew sleeping away the day.
